Two-wheeled, self-balancing, battery powered personal transporters: Segways are the coolest way to do a breezy lap around the farm.

Glide through the vineyards. Breeze through the River Garden. Take a turn past the yin-yang water recycling and re-energising plant.

1. Spier Segway Tour

  • A whistle-stop tour, showing you our vineyards and natural farming practices in action against the backdrop of the soaring Helderberg.
  • Tour times: 09.00, 10.30, 12.00, 14:00, 15:30
  • Restrictions: Not for children under 10, Weight limit 120kg, not suitable if pregnant.

2. Spier Wine Farm & Vineyards Glide

  • Glide around the indigenous River Garden and eco-friendly wastewater recycling plant, then through the leafy vineyards. Go via our farmlands before resting your wheels and stopping for a wine tasting. (Not for under 12s.)
  • Tour times: 9:00 & 14:00
  • Restrictions: Not for children under 12, Weight limit 120kg, Not suitable if pregnant.

3. Spier Sunset Tour

  • Breeze through the evening air, watching the sunset on another perfect day in the Cape.
  • Tour times: Departure times based on the season - please check online www.segwaytourz.co.za
  • Restrictions: Not for children under 12, Weight limit 120kg, Not suitable if pregnant.
