Housed in the original manor home of Van Loveren’s founders, Christina’s Bistro is named in honour of Christina Van Loveren, an early family ancestor who arrived in South Africa from Holland in 1699. Today the bistro offers a relaxed country setting surrounded by the farm’s beautiful gardens.
Guests can take a seat beneath the vine-covered pergola, settle into the garden beneath the shade of mature trees, or gather indoors beside a welcoming fireplace during the cooler winter months.
The menu celebrates fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with dishes prepared daily to create generous, flavourful meals designed to be enjoyed with Van Loveren wines. From vibrant salads and hearty burgers to wood-fired pizzas, succulent steaks and fresh fish dishes, the menu offers something for every taste.
Whether stopping in for breakfast, a relaxed lunch or a glass of wine in the garden, Christina’s Bistro invites visitors to linger a little longer and savour the charm, heritage and warm hospitality that define Van Loveren.
